The Anti Narcotic Task Force (ANTF) East Khasi Hills Shillong yesterday apprehended four people near Umsohsun under Sadar PS.
The four have been identified as Suraj Masih (25), Altima Khatun (27), Gulasha Begum (30) and Jumila Khatun (28).
The items recovered and seized were two soap boxes containing suspected heroin weighing 19.4g, five mobile phones and Rs 81,610 in cash.
In this connection, a case has been registered at Sadar Police Station under the NDPS Act and an investigation is in progress.
