East Jaintia Hills police arrested three persons for allegedly murdering one Ting Chyrmang following a quarrel that broke out in Lakaseiñ.
Police arrested the suspects Emburom Pasleiñ, Phormi Pasleiñ and Hoiki Tangliang, all residents of Lakaseiñ today.
Last night at around 12:30 pm, Chyrmang and the three suspects were drinking liquor in a place called Bhang, police said.
The victim was stabbed in the stomach by a sharp weapon. The reason for the attack is still unknown and police are investigating the incident.
