Nongpoh, Nov 14: The graduation ceremony of the 51st batch of Field Assistant Trainees was held today at the Conservation Training Institute (CTI) campus in Byrnihat, Ri-Bhoi.
Certificates, trophies, and prizes were awarded to 21 trainees who had successfully completed the 11-month training course.
Addressing the gathering, Soil and Water Conservation Department Director L. Shabong congratulated the field assistants and highlighted the importance of the institute. He said CTI is one of the prominent training centres in the state
He urged all graduates to make effective use of the knowledge, skills, and techniques they acquired during their training and apply them in the communities where they will serve, especially in conserving and protecting the environment, water sources, and natural resources for the state’s sustainable development.
