The killing followed a protest called by the KSU and other pressure groups against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) in Ichamati.
The victims’ families filed an FIR in connection with the murder.
The State government has announced an ex-gratia payment of Rs 5 lakh each to the families of the deceased.
