Several villages under West Khasi Hills and Eastern West Khasi Hills districts will be facing power shutdown for two days from 9am of April 21 to 9am of April 23, authorities said.
Executive Engineer of Meghalaya Power Distribution Corporation Limited (MePDCL), Nongstoiñ, Rajib Dutta in a public notice said the continuous shutdown is necessitated for filtration works of the 20 MVA Power Transformer at the 132 KV Grid substation in Nongpyndeng.
