Shillong, Mar 4: A 14-wheeler truck carrying large concrete pipes overturned at Amnohkse in the Muktapur area, leading to a block to vehicular movement.
The truck was carrying the pipes, known as hume pipes, for Muktapur-Jaliakhola road construction work when it overturned in the morning at Amnohkse, which disrupted traffic between Amlarem and Muktapur.
Authorities quickly constructed a temporary bypass at the site and vehicular movement later resumed, with vehicles now able to pass through the area normally.
