Ten officers and other ranks of Meghalaya Police have been awarded with the Governor’s Police Medal 2021, it was informed today.
Two Deputy Superintendents of Police are among the awardees – Crescency Wanlyne Lyngdoh, who is posted in West Jaiñtia Hills, and Anthony Ch Momin in East Garo Hills. The other award winners are Gilberth Manih, Samuel Wanniang Sainsyiem, Everbloom Khyriem, Ronald L Nongrum, Manish Kumar Chettri, Pynkhraw Kharshiing, Ricky Barua and Manchesterfield Wann.
In addition, Euphraisa Mawjaw, post at police headquarters in Shillong, has also been awarded with the Meghalaya Day Excellence Award.
