The office of the District Sports Officer, Ri-Bhoi District in collaboration with the Deputy Commissioner’s office will organize a 10 km run to celebrate Ri Bhoi Day on June 4.
The route for the run to commence at 7 am will be from St. John Secondary School, Jyntru to NSCA, Indoor Stadium, Umlyngkdait.
The event will be open to both men and women from the district and participants can register at the officer of the DSO during office hours. The last date for registration is June 3.
Cash prize for winners are, Rs 7000 for first prize, Rs 5000 for second prize and Rs 3000 for third prize. Special prizes will also be given to youngest and oldest participants.
