The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad through its national integration tour titled, Students Experience in Interstate Living-2023(SEIL) took youth from the North East to various states of the country to boost their confidence and spirit of Nationalism and oneness.
SEIL is an initiative of ABVP since 1965 to bridge the gap between the people of different regions across the country, mainly with a focus on improving relations between the people of North-Eastern States and people of other parts of India.
The delegates from North East comprises of 16 groups, named after freedom fighters. During the tour, the delegates representing Pa Togan Sangma group met union cabinet ministers, Bhupendra Yadav, Sarbananda Sonowal and B. Muralidharan.
In the meeting, Yadav shared his experience of SEIL when he was a delegate in the year 1987. The delegates of the SEIL shared their knowledge and views on culture, education, resources, geographical conditions of the region and many others.
The delegates also stayed in the house of host family and visited prestigious Institute like Banaras Hindu University, Jawaharlal Nehru University, IIM’s etc.
