A youth activist from East Jaiñtia Hills, Reegenal Shylla was allegedly threatened by unknown persons after he lambasted the MDA government for the continued mining and transportation of coal by a section of coal barons known locally as “high levels”.
Shylla has lodged an FIR at the Rynjah police station on the matter.
The youth had been vocal on the illegal mining and transportation of coal by the “high levels” stating that the “low level” had to watch in agony.
