The Meghalaya Yogasana Sports Association has informed that Yogasana has been included in the 5th Meghalaya Games 2024 as the demonstrational event.
A troupe of State and national acclaimed athletes performed live on Artistic Yogasana on local Garo traditional track at the P A Sangma Memorial Stadium at Tura yesterday.
The troupe enthralled the audience and the organisers of the event with their extraordinary Yogasana skills.
A troupe of ten members mostly from West Garo Hills district has the reputation of performing skills at different parts of the country at regional and national championships.
Recently, Meghalaya Yogasana athletes participated at Asmita, Khelo India Women League at Guwahati, followed by the National Championship at Patiala, Punjab.
