Shillong, Sep 18: Williamnagar in East Garo Hills and surrounding areas have recorded two back-to-back days of heavy rainfall.
On both days the district headquarters has been put in the 130-204mm band by the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD). Other parts of Garo Hills have been in the 40-70mm and 70-130mm bands.
The IMD has issued yellow alerts for all districts of Meghalaya tomorrow, with thunderstorms expected in certain areas.
