Keeping in mind the increase in Covid-19 cases around the state, West Garo Hills will experience restricted celebrations of Meghalaya’s 50th anniversary of statehood on Friday.
Informing this today, West Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner Ram Singh said that participation and invitations to the formal function will be kept down and Covid protocols will be insisted on.
However, a live stream of the main event in Shillong will be provided from 11am at the DRDA Conference Hall in Tura.
