The Commissionerate of Food Safety will organise a Walkathon 2022 under the theme – “Walk for Health” on May 19 from 6:30 am to sensitize the public about the importance of good health and how to combat negative nutritional trends to fight lifestyle diseases.
The walkathon will be open to all age groups.
The starting point will be from Fire brigade Ground (Iewrynghep) towards State Central Library through Main Road Laitumkhrah Don Bosco, Stephen Hall, Raj Bhavan, and Youth Hostel.
The registration will be online mode and it is free of cost. Distribution of docket numbers and other items will be done from the office of the Assistant Commissioner of Food Safety, Shillong located in MUDA Complex, Police Bazar on May 17 and 18.
