A total of 29 young and aspiring athletes participated in the talent scouting, marking the culmination of the district-level talent scouting process in Garo Hills.
The event covered all districts in Garo Hills. At least 20 players will be chosen to advance to the next stage of the selection process in the final selection process.
West Garo Hills Swimming Association President Jasper P Marak addressed the athletes, emphasising the importance of nurturing their skills. He noted that Garo Hills is rich in talent, but many athletes lack proper direction and guidance.
He urged the selected players to work hard, focus solely on volleyball, and make the most of the opportunity to reach their full potential.
