Residents of Rembigre village in West Garo Hills have written to the Deputy Commissioner to protest the appointment of an “unqualified” person as Anganwadi worker.
The villagers stated in the letter that one of the criteria for the post is to have at least passed Class 10 but that the person appointed to the job, whose name was not stated, had failed to meet this requirement.
The villagers want this person removed from the role and a qualified candidate appointed.
