The Meghalaya Upper Primary School Teachers Association (MUPSTA) will organise a one day sit-in demonstration on December 17 opposite Governor’s House here.
This agitation is to express the teachers’ solidarity and unhappiness towards the non-fulfillment of their demand to upgrade the 844 adhoc upper primary schools to deficit schools as, MUPSTA said in a press release today, the Chief Minister had promised on an earlier occasion.
