Union Minister of Jal Shakti, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat will be on a two-day visit to the State on November 3 and 4.
He will participate in a discussion on Space Applications in Flood Management in North Eastern Region by North East Space Application Centre (NESAC) at NESAC Umiam.
The minister will also review schemes under the ministry, including the Jal Jeevan Mission, Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana, the Springshed development and others.
Shekhawat will also visit a JJM project at Nongpoh in Ri Bhoi district followed by a review meeting with district officials on District Aspirational Indicators.
