      The special committee of the United Democratic Party has approved list of candidates for the elections to the Garo Hills Autonomous District Council.

      The candidates are Elbarth Marak (Damas), Rakman Ch Marak (Bolsong), Samarson M Marak (Kharkutta), Arman Gare Momin (Darugre), Hellwithson A Sangma (Boldamgre), Ajit A Marak (Asanang) and Kredithson Ch Marak (Dengnakpara).
