The National People’s Party (NPP) Umsning block today organised a special program to formally welcome Umsning MLA Dr. Celestine Lyngdoh into the party.
The function was held at Sohkyndur village in Ri Bhoi district.
Speaking at the gathering, Tynsong highlighted the long effort made to bring Dr. Lyngdoh into the party, noting that this milestone was achieved over the past few months.
He also expressed his appreciation to the MLA for joining the NPP without any preconditions or demands, reflecting his commitment to the party’s principles.
Tynsong expressed optimism about the party’s growth in Umsning and its prospects in Mawhati constituency.
He encouraged party leaders and workers to continue their hard work and intensify grassroots engagement to further strengthen public trust and support.
The event was attended by state NPP working president Hamletson Dohling, spokesperson Himalaya M Shangpliang, Umsning block president Jayson S. Mawlong, Umsning MDC Macdalyne S. Mawlong, and NPYF Umsning block president Angelstar Khonghat, among other party workers.
