Two crushed to death in accident

Shillong, Jun 30: Two youth lost their lives in a road accident which took place in the city today evening.
According to police, a Scooty (ML05-Q-7901) was proceeding from Mawlai towards Lumdiengjri and on reaching Mawlai bridge collided with one motorcycle (ML05-T-2773) which was coming from the opposite direction.
As a result, both the rider and pillion rider of the Scooty fell on the back side of the tyres of a loaded truck (AS23-BC-5040) and were crushed to death under its wheels.
The deceased have been identified as Jerffery Hynniewta (25) and Shidalin Kharhujon (18). Both of them are residents of Mawlai Mawiong Rim. The bodies have been taken to Shillong Civil Hospital.
