The Meghalaya Swimming Association will conduct a trial for the 41st Sub-Junior National Championship 2025 and the 51st Junior National Championship 2025 at Crinoline Swimming Pool here on July 17.
The trials will begin at 10am and spot registration will be carried out from 8:30am.
For the junior team (boys and girls Groups 1 and 2), the events are freestyle (50m, 100m), backstroke (50m), breaststroke (50m, 100m) and butterfly stroke (50m, 100m). For the sub-junior team (boys and girls Group 3), the events are freestyle (50m), backstroke (50m), breaststroke (50m) and butterfly stroke (50m).
Swimmers should bring their birth certificate for age verification. The sub-junior category is open to 11-12 year olds born in 2013 or 2014. Junior Group 1 is for 15-17 year olds born between 2008 and 2010, while Group 2 is for 13-15 year olds born in 2011 or 2012.
