The All Jaiñtia Cement Clinker Transporters Association has decided to hold a public rally against high toll rates charged by three toll plazas in the State.
The association has decided to hold the rally on February 20 at Hynñiew-Mer in West Jaiñtia Hills at 11 am to decide on their future course of action on overcharging of toll rates by toll plazas at Diengpasoh, Ïalong West Jaiñtia Hills and Lumshnong East Jaiñtia Hills.
President of the association Balen Thubru has urged the public to attend the rally so that a resolution could be reached on what needs to be done as overcharging of tolls has affected not only commercial vehicles but those who own a private vehicle too.
