In view of the mass gathering and hopping of general public in Khyndai Lad point leading to traffic congestion in the vicinity of Khyndai Lad as well as at the highway, the Shillong Traffic Police (STP) will impose traffic regulation on a temporary basis from December 29 to January 1.
As per the new regulation, no entry will be imposed from Grand Hotel point towards Khyndai Lad (from 2 pm onwards). Vehicles coming from Motphran and Umsohsun wanting to proceed towards Khyndai Lad will have to take the Boucher Road.
Further, no parking on the stretch from Khyndai Lad to Grand Hotel junction (entire stretch of GS Road) will be imposed from 8 am to 8 pm.
