Shillong, Feb 5: The Deputy Commissioner of North Garo Hills has issued a traffic advisory for the A·chik Baptist Dal·gipa Krima (ABDK) Soba, scheduled from February 5 to 8 at Moamari in Bajengdoba.
Commercial heavy vehicles will be restricted from 6am to 12 midnight on National Highway 51 and the Bajengdoba-Rongsai Road.
Passenger vehicles will be allowed, while commercial vehicles can operate between 12 midnight and 6am. No parking will be allowed on notified routes except at designated lots.
The ABDK Soba, a 150-year-old tradition, draws lakhs of Christians for worship, prayer and church programmes.
