The East Khasi Hills Deputy Commissioner has adjusted the timings for wine shops, bars, canteens, outstills and bonded warehouses.
From Thursday, off-licences can operate from Monday to Saturday (excluding notified dry days) from 9am to 6:30pm.
HDL licensees can operate from 10am to 8pm Monday to Saturday.
On-licences (bars, clubs) that have obtained prior permission from the DC’s office can serve customers from 12 noon to 8pm daily.
Bonded warehouses, meanwhile, can operate from 9am to 7pm Monday to Saturday and canteens and outstills can run from 9am to 6:30pm Monday to Saturday.
