The families of people who died due to Covid-19 prior to March 20 will have 60 days to file for the government’s compensation and the window will be 90 days for coronavirus deaths that occur after March 20, East Khasi Hills Deputy Commissioner has informed.
Families are asked to collect the form from the office of DDMA/Relief and Rehabilitation Branch, Deputy Commissioner’s Office, Shillong or from the office of the Block Development Officer of the respective Blocks.
