The Education department has served a show cause notice to teachers of Pine Mount School.
Teachers of this prestigious government school had resorted to black flag protest to air their grievances over the many deficiencies in the school. They also demanded the removal of school Principal Aiom Ksiar Diengdoh who they blamed for the sad state of affairs in the school.
Sources said that though the contents of the show cause notice is not known ten teachers who led the protest were asked to reply.
It may be mentioned that following the protest, the department had set up a four-member enquiry committee to probe into the various complaints and grievances of the teachers headed by Secretary Ryntihlang Rapthap.
