Ninety athletes of South West Khasi Hills who represented the district at the 6th Meghalaya Games 2025 were felicitated by the South West Khasi Hills District Sports Association (SWKHDSA) at the MDSA stadium in Nonglang yesterday.
Mawkyrwat MLA Renikton Lyngdoh Tongkhar, District Sports Officer Damang Syngkon, Block Development Officer I. Lawriniang and members of the 16 sports association were present on the occasion.
It may be mentioned that South West Khasi Hills bagged 48 medals at the games, which was held in Jowai
Meanwhile, Tongkhar also released a booklet on the roles and functions of the SWKHDSA on the occasion.
