The Deputy Commissioner & Chairman District Disaster Management Authority, East Jaintia Hills District has informed that the Government of India has instituted an Annual National Award called ‘Subhash Chandra Bose Aapda Prabandhan Puraskar’ in the field of Disaster Management.
The award aims to recognise and honour the excellent work done by individuals and institutions who are engaged in providing selfless service to the society in the field of disaster management.
Applications for the award are required to be filled online by visiting the portal, https://awards.gov.in. and the last date for filling up of applications this year is August 31, 2024.
