Nongpoh, Apr 8: With the aim of guiding and motivating students towards choosing the right career path, the Seng Kynthei Nongjri Umsohlang organised a ‘Career Guidance cum Awareness Programme on Civic Sense’ at Nongjri Presbyterian Secondary School.
The programme was conducted to help students gain a clearer understanding of their future opportunities and to encourage them to work hard towards achieving their life goals.
The session featured Phyrnai Marbaniang, a retired government officer who served as Deputy Director in the Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR), as the resource person. He was accompanied by B Jarain, Assistant Director, Information and Public Relations.
Also present at the programme were members of the Seng Kynthei Nongjri Umsohlang, including president Trustodian Sohtun, secretary Ridalin Shangdiar, Headmistress of the school P Khongbeh, along with teachers and students.
During his address, Marbaniang spoke about different aspects of life and career choices, encouraging students to remain focused, disciplined and hardworking. He emphasised that success cannot be achieved without dedication and determination and urged the students to stay committed to their goals and strive for excellence in their future endeavours.
