Jowai, Sep 19: Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) organised the ‘U Kiang Nangbah Best Student Award 2025’ at the District Auditorium in Jowai to felicitate toppers from every school who excelled in the SSLC and HSSLC examinations 2025.
During the event, more than 80 toppers from various schools of Jowai were felicitated for their outstanding achievements. The programme witnessed an overwhelming participation of nearly 800 well-wishers, including intellectuals, social activists, entrepreneurs, parents, and students, who came together to celebrate the academic excellence of the youth.
Cabinet Minister Shanbor Shullai who attended the programme as chief guest highlighted the significance of education in shaping the future of society. He also appreciated the initiatives of ABVP in uplifting the educational scenario of the state and the country by guiding the youth towards nationalism, patriotism, and national reconstruction.
The award was given to recognise the hard work and dedication of the toppers and to inspire the student community to pursue excellence with a spirit of service and responsibility towards society and the nation.
