The Meghalaya Board of School Education’s (MBOSE) SSLC and HSSLC examinations for Class 10 and Class 12 students will begin on Monday.
Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma posted a short video message online today to wish all the students the best for the upcoming exams.
MBOSE has had to reschedule some of the examination dates due to the KHADC and JHADC district council elections to be held on February 21.
The examination for Mathematics/Special Mathematics for SSLC, which was earlier listed for February 21, will now be held on February 25. For the HSSLC examination, the rescheduled dates are for Physics, History and Sociology as the date falls on February 24, which is the counting date for the elections. Physics and History has been rescheduled to March 6 and Sociology for March 18. For the vocational subjects, poultry farming-IV and computer technique IV, which were earlier scheduled for February 21, will be held on March 19.
