A total of 65,787 students will appear for the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examination beginning tomorrow in various centres across the State.
The examinations which start tomorrow with English subject will conclude on May 3.
The SSLC 2021 Examination will comprise of different categories of candidates and consist of Regular-I, Regular- II, Non-Regular, Private, Compartmental, Improvement.
The Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) has released a set of Covid-19 protocols for the examinations. These protocols are to be followed at the respective examination centres during the conduct of both SSLC and HSSLC examination.
Besides checking the temperature of the students at the entry point of the examination centre, wearing masks is mandatory besides hand sanitisation.
No gathering of students and others before or after examinations within or outside the premises of examination centres is allowed,
The examination centres have also been told to keep one hall or classroom reserved, in case of any eventuality.
It may be mentioned that Higher Secondary Level School Certificate (HSSLC) examinations began on April 16 and will continue till May 12.
A total of 32,506 students are appearing for the HSSLC examination in the different centres spread across the eleven districts of the State.
