Shillong, Jan 30: The Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examinations conducted by the Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) began today.
A total of 48,793 students are set to sit the January 30 to February 11 exams, authorities informed.
The Education Department stated that 20,210 are males and 28,583 are female candidates.
There are 171 examination centres all over the state divided into two regions, Shillong and Tura. Shillong region has 97 centres and Tura has 74.
