The All Meghalaya 4th Teachers’ Association submitted a memorandum to Governor Satya Pal Malik yesterday regarding their demand for enhanced salaries.
Currently receiving a salary of Rs 12,000 per month, the teachers want this increased to Rs 20,493, in line with other SSA teachers. The association has been campaigning for this for some time but has not yet received an answer to their liking from the State government.
