The Tura Municipal Board in association with the Central Puja Committee of Garo Hills today did their bit in spreading the Christmas cheer, through the distribution of blankets to about 200 people at five different locations in the Tura.
The blanket distribution was held at the Tura Super Market, Hawakhana junction, Araimile junction, Ringrey Marketing Hub and Chandmari TMB office to workers of the TMB including muster roll, labourers and sweepers.
The CPC thanked J D Sangma, Chairman TMB, Rikse R Marak, MCS, CEO TMB, Partho Bhattacharjee, Shri Stemson Sangma and a host of TMB staff for helping the CPC in carrying out the task.
