As part of commemoration of the 75th anniversary of India’s freedom, a special cover on “75 Years of Independence” launched by the Postal Department was officially released by Chief Minister of Meghalaya, Conrad K. Sangma.
The special cover was handed over by Chief Postmaster General, North East Circle, Shillong, Subrat Das to the chief minister during celebration of Independence Day ceremony at Polo Ground here yesterday.
