Speaker of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly Thomas A Sangma inspected and chaired a review meeting on the construction of the new Assembly building at Mawdiangdiang.
The meeting was held to assess the progress of the construction works which was attended by representatives from various line departments, including the Public Works Department (PWD), Parliamentary Affairs Department, Design Associates, and other Assembly officials.
Following the inspection, a joint meeting was conducted to discuss the project’s progress and address any challenges.
The Speaker expressed satisfaction with the outcome of the meeting, emphasizing the importance of collaboration among all stakeholders to ensure the timely completion of the project.
Deputy Speaker Timothy D Shira and Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong were also present at the meeting.
