South Shillong MLA Sanbor Shullai organised a pre-Christmas and New Year get together and also extended financial assistance of Rs 3.5 lakh to 14 church committees under the Discretionary Grant 2023.
This will enable them to celebrate Christmas and New Year in their own respective areas, a press release stated today. The MLA also appealed to all the beneficiaries to involve children who hail from underprivileged sections.
