The State government has appointed female IAS officer Hema Navak as the Sub-Divisional Officer of Sohra Civil Sub-Division.
Navak will take over the post from MCS officer Lyngkor Kynjing who has been removed.
The State government has recently transferred a number of bureaucrats as part of a shake up ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections in the State.
