The Hynniewtrep Integrated Territorial Organization (HITO) has sought the intervention of the state government on the decision of NEIGRIHMS that mandates that Covid-19 patients deposit Rs 10,000 at the time of their admission.
In a complaint submitted to Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma today, HITO secretary Wanbun N Dkhar and vice-president Sromwell Mawdoh expressed their shock at the decision by NEIGRIHMS.
The NEIGRIHMS notification was signed by the Deputy Director.
