The Shillong Lajong Football Club has announced today they have signed El Hadji Abdou Karim Samb for the I-League 2023-24 Season.
The signing marks Shillong Lajong FC’s second international addition for the upcoming season, following the recent announcement of Brazilian defender Daniel Goncalves.
The 27-year old striker from Dakar, Senegal has a remarkable football journey, has made an impact in various countries, including Turkey, Beirut, Morocco, Lebanon, and Libya.
Karim’s accomplishments include leading ASC Jaraaf Senegal to victory in the 2016 first division league in Senegal. During that season, he also clinched the prestigious Best Player Award.
In 2017, the Senegalese International once again showcased his prowess by securing the 1st division championship with Jarraf FC, where he emerged as the second-highest goal scorer, further solidifying his reputation as a goal-scoring sensation.
