Shillong College won the men’s badminton and women’s table tennis titles at the NEHU Inter College Badminton and Table Tennis Tournament, which concluded today.
The three-day event was organised by the Sports Department of North-Eastern Hill University at the NEHU Indoor Stadium here.
The tournament was organised for the students of the university and its affiliated colleges.
The tournament ended with a presentation ceremony, where Prof K Debbarma, Dean of the School of Social Sciences, was the chief guest. Prof Lakhon Kma, Director in charge, and N Das, Assistant Director of Physical Education and Sports, were also present to give away the prizes to the winners.
