The Shillong All Faiths Forum (SAFF) has appealed to the citizens of Meghalaya to do all they can to try and stop the spread of Covid-19.
“Please do not be misguided by those who want to scare you, but follow the advice of experts in the Health Department of the government,” SAFF president Most Rev P Lyngdoh and SAFF secretary Rev EH Kharkongor said.
Specifically, they called on the public to adhere to containment measures, to stay at home if possible, for those 45 and over to get vaccinated “as soon as possible”, to wear facemasks and maintain physical distancing.
