Shillong, Nov 26: The Seng Khasi Kmie today expressed its profound gratitude to all those who made the 126th edition of the Seng Kut Snem on November 23 a success and, with it, the conclusion of the 125th anniversary of the socio-cultural organisation’s creation.
“The presence of everyone added beauty and grandeur to the cultural procession as well as to the gathering at Lympung Weiking,” Seng Khasi Kmie general secretary Hainess Marbaniang said in a release.
He thanked a long list of people and organisations, including all participating members of Seng Khasi Seiñ Raij, cabinet minister Wailadmiki Shylla, Syiems, Dollois, Myntris, other dignitaries, Seng Khihlang, Sengbah ki Nongshat Nongkheiñ, local circles and units, the Meghalaya Governor, Chief Minister and Speaker, government departments, the Deputy Commissioner, dorbar shnongs, etc.
