The Khasi Authors’ Society (KAS) will observe the Literary Day coinciding with the 44th anniversary of the organisation tomorrow at Lady Keane College here.
As part of the programme, a regional seminar on the topic “Ka Tip-Kur Tip-Kha Ha U Khasi” will be organised. KHADC Chief Executive Member Pyniaid Sing Syiem will be the chief guest at the opening ceremony.
Dr. Philomena Kharakor will deliver her lecture on “Ka Tangjait U Khasi” while Prof. Kynpham Sing Nongkynrih will deliver a lecture on “Ka Tip-Kur Tip-Kha Ha Ka Pyrkhat Khasi”. This will be followed by an interaction on the lectures.
During the function, the KAS will also present awards to students who secured highest marks in the Khasi subject at various examinations from school, college to university levels.
