Shillong, Mar 24: Seeti, India’s boldest new culinary collective, is set to host its second chapter in Meghalaya, bringing together some of the country’s most exciting chefs, storytellers, creators, and cultural voices for an immersive experience.
The event will be held from March 26 to March 31, aiming to transform the state into a vibrant celebration of food, culture, and community, showcasing the region’s rich culinary heritage.
Seeti 2.0 will not only highlight the exquisite ingredients rooted in local traditions but also fosters collaborations between regional talent and renowned culinary figures from across India. Attendees can expect curated dining experiences that celebrate Meghalaya’s indigenous produce.
Chief Minister Conrad Sangma said that this festival is more than just about food; it represents the energy and creativity of Meghalaya’s youth. “Seeti 2.0 celebrates this spirit—providing a platform for our youth to lead, innovate and share Meghalaya’s story with the world. It is a reflection of who we are and a step towards a future shaped by our young people,” he said.
Organisers said the Northeastern region remains underrepresented in mainstream culinary narratives despite its rich traditions, and the Meghalaya edition of SEETI seeks to bridge that gap by amplifying local voices and fostering collaborations.
