Shillong, Aug 30: The corporate social responsibility arm of Indus Towers Ltd, in association with non-profit organisation Shishu Sarothi, has announced that scholarships for students with disabilities for 2025-26.
Since 2016, the program has extended vital financial support to over 900 deserving students with disabilities, enabling them to pursue their educational aspirations.
The Indus Towers Scholarship Program (ITSP) aims to empower youth with disabilities from across India to unlock their potential and achieve economic independence.
Each year the ITSP supports the fees of 100 students across India, enabling them to pursue diverse educational pathways, tailored to the duration and nature of the course.
From vocational and skill training, certificate programs, the ITSP also covers coaching for employment-oriented competitive examinations, Higher secondary education, master’s programs, and diploma courses as well as Graduation and post-graduate degree programs.
In addition to financial support, the program also offers career counselling sessions and rights awareness programs to motivate, guide, and inspire scholars as they navigate their academic journeys and work toward economic empowerment.
