Assam Down Town University (ADTU), Guwahati, has launched a scholarship program of up to Rs 1 Crore for students across the country, stating that the varsity has a variety of placement driven courses.
In a statement here today Dr N.N. Dutta, Chancellor of the university informed that students who have appeared in 10+2 exams from any streams (Arts, Science or Commerce) or have already obtained their results are eligible to register free for the scholarship test that is scheduled for July 25, 2021.
The 60 minutes online test will carry questions in MCQ format (Multiple Choice Question) with no negative marking. It is important to note that English and G.K sections would be compulsory for all students while they can opt for other papers from their respective subjects/streams.

“In this pandemic hit situation the university has decided to provide an opportunity to the deserving students across the country to pursue the courses that would help them fulfil their dreams. The scholarship will help meritorious students from humble backgrounds and lessen the financial burden on the parents. It is an initiative to give back to the society and make it a better place,” the Chancellor said.
